Molly Mahoney

Since we've moved, our internet connection has been a little iffy. And for the past... two days, it hasn't worked at all. So, while it's working, I've decided to hurry and do a post.

While the internet hasn't been working, I have filled some of my time composing a song on the piano. I started it a few months ago, and still haven't finished it. I just can't figure it out. I want it to be light, if you know what I mean. But so far it starts out mysterious, and then it goes into lighter stuff, and then mysterious again. I can't figure it out. Today I figured out a new part of the song. I am almost to the end, I just can't figure it out! Hence the title of this post.

Molly Mahoney is from a movie called Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, in case you didn't know. It is one of my favorite movies because it is so magical. Molly Mahoney is a music prodigy. For a while she has been trying to finish her first concerto. But she is stuck, she can't figure out the ending. I now know how she feels.

I can't remember if she finishes the song at the end of the movie, I hope she did. Anyway, I have now done my quick little post. I am off to try and finish my song.

I associate almost everything with flowers. These flowers are what my song, to me, "feels" like.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Yesterday was the last day of school. Well, technically today is, but no one comes on the official last day. I am so glad there is no more school. I feel kinda lazy.

We filled our day checking out of classes and signing yearbooks. Do you know how hard it is thinking of something to write in them? It is very hard. So I just resorted to writing: Megan Murset was here. I wrote a few personal stuff in each one, but I figured that writing Megan Murset was here, was easier.

They had huge blow up slides and a dunking tank. I didn't go on any of them, I didn't really feel like it. I just sat with my friends on the grass for two hours talking about everything under the sun.

Friends... below.
(Missing some, they were somewheres else.)

Thinking about more school makes me want to go: Blech.

I'm watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. So far, it is pretty interesting. Doesn't really follow the book, but thats okay. I think it is a good movie by itself.

Anyway, those are my thoughts for the day.

P.S. Who reads my blog? Just wondering.

Wandering of thoughts.

I am starting this post with an epic wandering thought.

Toilets

Pretty epic, right? You must be shocked.

You may be thinking that you aren't hearing right.

Or maybe you'll just cover your ears.

Anyway, toilets. I was cleaning mine yesterday when I noticed that on the underside of the lid it says CHURCH. At first I was astonished. Are they saying that church is excrement? I was almost about to shake my head in a sassy way and go "I don't think so". But then I started thinking. You know, our church takes in the "refuse" and allows them to repent. The sins (poop) get washed away, and they are left crystal clear! Perfect analogy.

I don't know how I think of these.

This toilet is worth 75,000 DOLLARS! Whew.

Trends. They are strange. I'm sure I will look back on pictures of me now and go: WHY DID I WEAR THAT? Or, WHY DID I STYLE MY HAIR THAT WAY? I hope not. Luckily, dark makeup and caked on foundation isn't my style. In fact, I don't wear any makeup. I really hope I don't have to in the future. I might, I just won't like it.

Hairspray. I hate it. Just so you know. It smells weird, and I don't like it.

While organizing the garage I found this hat. I told my dad to take this picture so I could say that he had me working in a Chinese sweatshop.

Hey guess what. Last day of school tomorrow! Yes....

Ciao.

Last day of ballet. Whew!

Last day of ballet, yippee! I'm sad that I won't be dancing anymore, but I'm excited for the break. Tonight was my last end of the year performance. I think we did so much better on todays dances than we did yesterday. I was pretty happy. My dad was able to take some pictures of my pointe rehearsal.

We don't have our costumes on now, and our pointe shoe ribbons were painted black. Our costume was basically all black except for a few sparkles here and there.

I look like I'm in la la land. I was probably praying really hard that I wouldn't mess up.

Of course my parents came to the show.

And my two friends Veronica and Wanda came! They came to my Nutcracker performance too. They are so supportive.

I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my chest. Only three more days of school, no more ballet... I'm pretty happy. Now I don't have to worry if I accidentally get milk into my body. I can be as sick as I please and no grades will go down!

I might be doing a couple of dance classes this summer. I am planning on doing tap and performance group next year. I don't know how hard tap is. I hope its pretty easy. I don't want to be messing up everywhere. And I think performance group will be really fun.

We are officially moved out of our house! As of yesterday. We finally got our computers over here so we don't have to walk back and forth. Now I can finally start adjusting to living here and putting stuff away.

Well, I feel like I've been doing a post everyday. It feels weird. I think I will go back to doing every few days. I don't expect to do another one for a least a week. Just so you know. Unless something really great happens.

Nighty night!

P.S. I watch a lot of T.V shows. The season finale of Castle frustrated me. The season finale of Bones frustrated me. And the season finale of Legend of the Seeker left me satisfied. I need Merlin to come back! Not until September...

I'm sunburned.

Today was my ninth grade swim party. We walked to the city pool and jumped right in! It was hard to swim around because there was a ton of people in there. It was also very hot. I got sunburned... dangit, I was hoping for a tan. Maybe my sunburn will turn into a tan.

Anyway, I made sure that I took pictures. So here they are!

Walking to the pool...

My friend Veronica and I after we got out of the crowded pool. When my hair dried, it went POOF!

The guys wanted to show off their macho-ness. So they played tug-a-war with a towel.

Veronica, me, and Natasha

Then I walked home with my big red sunglasses on. People loved them.

Its always fun to leave in the middle of school and go somewhere to have fun. Makes me feel rebellious. I am so sunburned though. My elbows are sunburned, my knees are sunburned, my hip even feels sunburned. Even though my hip wasn't showing... Hope it doesn't affect my dancing.

Speaking of dancing, I have my end of the year ballet performance today and tomorrow. And... I just got home from my performance. I stopped in the middle of writing. It went pretty well! I guess the ballet costumes I was complaining about actually look good onstage! I messed up really bad on that dance, I wasn't warmed up. I don't think anyone noticed though.

My Broadway dance; Put on a Happy Face, turned out really good! We all did well on it and our costumes are awesome.

And thats all folks!

EIGHT MORE DAYS TILL SCHOOL ENDS. Yes...

Hey guess what. I'm going to be in the high school in FOUR months. That is going to be very strange. I am going to be able to drive next year.... WEIRD. I am not very excited about being the youngest class in the school. I wonder if people actually make fun of us youngins like they depict in books and whatnot. I'm sure some people do. I SHALL PREVAIL!

Friday us 9th graders are having a pool party. I am sort of iffy about it. The pool water will probably still be cold (unless they heat the city pool water). And there will be a hundred emotional roller coaster teenagers vying for each other's attention. Great...

Anyway, I've gotta clean my room. Just last night I started getting claustrophobic, which is strange for me. I really need to start cleaning. So, I'm off!

Can't think of a title.

My dad always has a lot of stuff in his pockets. The other day he emptied them out and took a picture of what was in them.

Dad's pockets:

money clip
3 recepts
wallet
Sharpie
mini screwdriver
red pen
black pen
safe key
glasses
mini flashlight
Infinity key
main key chain wad (27 keys)
handkerchief
12' tape measure
hearing aids
cell phone
76 cents
pocket knife
2 checkbooks
Tylenol container
keys to 4 apartments
mail key
key to house by Walmart
stud finder
Leatherman
5 double robe hooks

Wow. That's a lot of stuff. Lets lighten your mind with some new and fresh pictures of flowers. (I like flowers if you hadn't noticed.)

I have been feeling marvelously happy today. Don't know why...

Things I am happy about:

We are almost all moved out of our house.

We have some wonderful roses blooming.

We are going to have a beautiful (but small) yard.

School is almost out!

I can type. You have no idea how grateful I am for that.

Someone thanked me for all my random posts on Facebook yesterday. They said that they made them laugh.

And I'm sure I could think of a lot more, but my brain hurts.

Have a nice day!

Um... Really?

Just some flowers to make me feel better before I go into theatrics about I am so iffy about.

My end of the year ballet performance is next week. I know my dance teacher loves all of us; but does she just have to pick the weirdest costumes? Sigh... my ballet costume. I don't want to wear it. But I will have to grin and bear it. My pointe costume. Makes me feel like I should be doing the cancan in the movie Moulin Rouge. It consists of fishnets, a bustle, and a parasol. AUGH! Yeah, I will just have to GRIN AND BEAR IT. And that is all I have to say about that.

I want summer to come. I don't get this weather. One day its 80 degrees, the next, 50. The weather goes UP and DOWN. Its getting really annoying. This weather has caused it to be a sweatshirt week. I wake up and go: Blah... sweatshirt time. It keeps me warm and its comfortable. Especially when you are doing end of level testing.

And now for something completely random.
