The Facebook question.

What's on your mind?

Do you really want to know what is on my mind? Okay then, here goes.

Why do I eat food while watching the t.v. show Bones? If I didn't have such amazing control over my gag reflexes, I would throw up everywhere. But I still watch it, it fascinates me.

Who decided where the letters on the keyboard should go?

Who decided that the notes on a scale could only go from A to G?

Who decided that puke green should be a color in the crayon box?

I wonder where the Three Nephites are.

When is the Second Coming? (That question is constantly on my mind)

How come dandelions are so awesome?

Whoever found out what the speed of light is, must have had a lot of time on their hands.

I wonder what last nights dream meant. It was really weird.

Why can't I ever retain measuring information in my head? Such as, how many quarts are in a gallon?

Cameras are amazing.

Why do I stay up so late when I know that I will regret it in the morning?

I can't ever remember a time when I didn't know how to read. I love to read.

What pictures should I hang up in my room?

Are the 1900's the only time people referred to years as the "twenties", or the "sixties"?

Why can't I ever seem to keep my room clean?

Has anyone noticed that I switched my blog name from "Simply Delightful Photography", to just plain "Simply Delightful"? Its been that way for about 2 months.

When will that stubborn cherry tree finally blossom?

I always tell myself that if I had the chance, I would go bungee jumping. But if I actually could, would I?

I am so excited that my best friend can come with me to Girls camp this year.

Why do I procrastinate so much?

I'm going to go take some pictures of those tulips that are just blooming.

And saying that, that is what I am going to do. Have a great spring day!

3.24.10

I was going to put a poem on here, but all the poems about spring that I could find talked about April. And since its not April yet... I decided not to.

As soon as I got home today, I went to go get the mail. I know, it sounds like a great start to a great story. Not really. The only thing that happened is I realized that even more blossoms and flowers are coming up! I was so happy that I skipped all the way home and got out my camera.

So here are some captured images of spring.

I would write more but my hands are freezing cold, making it hard to type.

Have a happy spring!

14,000 things to be happy about.

This wonderfully warm weather is putting me in a very happy mood. So I decided to think about what things make me happy. So I went to our massive bookshelf and pulled down a book called: 14,000 things to be happy about.

This book is amazing. It makes you thing of all the little simple things in life that you should be thankful for.

I picked 65 out of the 14,000 to put on this blog. Of course I could have found more, put I was just flipping through it and picking out things.

And now, prepare to be happy.

Didn't that make you feel happy?

What makes me smile about this post is: I took most of the pictures for it. Not all at once of course. Some of them are old, some of them are new. And of course I didn't take the ones of me. I'm not that talented.

I hope this made you smile!

Ah... Spring.

My friend Veronica and I went on a spontaneous bike ride. We were just going to go around a couple of blocks, but ended up at the park by the City Pool. It was the perfect spring day. It wasn't cold, it wasn't hot. It was just right. AH! I love spring!

Veronica and I decided to show our jubilant rejoicing of spring.

This picture is a tribute to one of my favorite heros in The Book of Mormon: Nephi.

Veronica is so pretty.

Meanwhile, since it is spring break, I decided to switch rooms. Well, switch back into my old room. Back when I was still in that room, I was in transition from tomboy, to normal girl. I decided to take a big step and paint my room bright yellow, put flowers on my valences, and put in pink and green curtains. It really didn't help me become more girly. In fact, the colors annoyed me. So I moved into the other room.

We repainted the walls a much lighter yellow. Don't know why I stuck with yellow, I guess it reminds me of the sun. We are not done yet, sadly. I guess I am the type who likes to get things done fast. Here are some progress pictures.

Before:

After:
(Well, the flowers and curtains are still there. The walls are different though.)

I don't know if you can see the contrast. The darker yellow is what it was, the lighter yellow is what it is now.

We also decided to paint the dresser. We started out with red, but it reminded me of McDonalds. So we painted it blue.

I can't wait till all of this is done. I will post finished pictures when it is done. Which I hope will be soon.

And just for good measure, I LOVE SPRING!
