Tubing, being water-logged, windblown hair, sore backs and legs, sunburns = Boating

Yesterday my dad, Mark, Madelyn, my friend Veronica, and I went boating. It was a blast! Even though I forgot to put sunscreen on, we had a great time.

I have gone boating every year of my life, and I have never had the courage to go tubing. My dad practically forced me to do it this time. But now I know that it is actually really fun! Even though you are getting sprayed in the face with water half the time.

Argh.

My last post I asked which pictures I should enter in the fair. Well, about two hours later I decided that I would enter these two.

Ah, fleur.

Fleur means flowers in French. I absolutely love flowers! I love catching their beauty on camera so I can look at them when they aren't in bloom.

Even though the one below is a weed, it is still pretty. Have you ever noticed those little curls?

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! Saturday was a pretty eventful day! I shot my first gun! The first gun I shot was a 22, then I was brave and shot a 12 gauge shotgun, then I was brave again and shot a 243. That one is used for shooting deer.
It is amazing to think how this country was started, all the wars that we have had that made this country what it is. Happy Birthday America!
