Sewing Adventures and Ghoulish Happenings.

So I must admit that I still have not been able to put my sewing pictures on due to my dad needing to use the computer that they are on. So... I will explain some of it.

In my Clothing class at school they are doing this thing called the
Ultimate Sewing Challenge. Its where my teacher gives you what is called "fat quarter". I don't know how to explain what that is, so lets just say its a piece of fabric. And she lets you sew whatever you want with that piece of fabric. And you get 10 extra credit points if you do it. So I was pondering on what I was going to do, and I came up with this idea: When I was younger, Sherri Lewis taught me how to make paper cups. Actually Lamb Chop did, but you know what I mean. And so, I made a paper cup (bigger) and made a purse out of it. I must say, it turned out pretty well. I will have pictures of it once my dad gets off the Mac.

On to other things. Every year for Halloween, basically our main decoration is our tomb stones. They are 15 years old and have withstood our pounding and screwing every year. Anyway, me and my friend Veronica put those up a few days ago. Even though it was freezing cold.

Me in my rocker sweatshirt. Actually it was my guitar class sweatshirt from last year. They decided to make it more "the teen style".
Veronica pounding in the stake. And yes, I did intend that pun.
Dracula will finally be dead!

Gosh, we have no respect for the dead.

Our skeleton. We have had that thing for as long as I can remember. First the head came off, then one of the arms, and just this year it's spine broke. We always set it on our porch swing, but we decided to have a little fun with it.
GRAVE ROBBERS!

Get your bony legs in the right place, man.
Best friends.

They are really swingin'!

Then... we got the mail.
Me waltzing to the mail box.
Veronica waltzing back home.

Ooh. The Nationwide Unclaimed Vehicle Event. I should go to that.

Wow...you two sure know how to spend an afternoon. Nice yellow hats! Did you knit them? I am anxious to see the cup/purse you made.

Those hats are from past girls camps. Sis. Woodbury knitted them for us :) I still can't get the purse pictures on here because this computer is being dumb! Grrr... makes me mad.
