*Warning: Long post due to lots of pictures*
I turned the fabulous age of FIFTEEN yesterday. I had a great day. At school we were having a Battle of the Sexes assembly so we got out of all our classes early! I'm glad that happened on my birthday, it was fun. The people at my lunch table even sang to me!
My friend Timmi walked up to me that morning and handed me a box of cocoa with a balloon attached. When I gave her a what-is-this-for look, she said that she was going to make me brownies but she didn't know if they had milk in them. So she just decided to give me cocoa so if I wanted to I could make some milk-free brownies. I thought that was pretty awesome. My mom said that I should do a post about my last day being 14. I know its a little late, but I'm going to do it anyway.
My last day being 14.
I didn't get any pictures of me at school, but thats okay.
When I got home from school, I quickly practiced the piano so I could play in Seminary the next week.
I didn't get anymore pictures through out the day until later that night.
I listened to Taylor Swift's song "Fifteen" just for kicks.
I wrote in my journal.
I read an apparently amazing book. Actually, it is called Especially for Mormons. I was reading a really funny story about a Water Closet.
Then I went to bed. The next morning I was FIFTEEN!
I was really happy.
So I woke up and put on my Battle of the Sexes t-shirt.
Hitched a ride from my neighbors and went to school.
Then we went to a great Chinese food resteraunt. Me and Veronica decided that we would try some foods that we had never tried before. Never eating sushi again, never eating crab leg again, never eating mussel again, the stuffed crab wasn't so bad, once you got passed the shell with the eyes still in it.
Then we went home and I opened presents! Thank you everyone for all the stuff I got!
Then I blew out the candles on my birthday pie.
From the look on our faces, especially my mom's, you can tell that something funny happened. I'll tell you what it was.
My parents often get me and my sister's names mixed up. They will go, "Mari-Meliss-Megan." they eventually say the right name. Anyway, while they were singing my Happy Birthday song to me, this is what my mom did:
"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Maria... I mean Megan, Happy Birthday to you!"
We were laughing so hard. I don't think I have ever seen my mom laugh that hard! It was really funny. And no mom, I won't be scarred for life.
I think I had a wonderful birthday.
Watch out world! Megan's gonna be taking drivers lessons!
P.S. I am hoping that by the time I turn 16 next year, I will have mastered the art of writing in complete sentences. I have a habit of writing in run-ons.
P.P.S Did you know that peach pie smells a lot like sea food? I think eating all that weird stuff messed up my smelling abilities. I'm smelling sushi everywhere.

Thanks for the fun party, Meg. Let's do it again next year! Haha. I still want to borrow Swan Lake sometime.
PS. If you make any sock critters, Madelyn wants one. Just passing that along..
