And... more.

This is my "internal support structure mug". It is supposed to match with my flower bowl.

I need to work on my handle skills... and my mug skills. I didn't throw this on the wheel, I just wrapped it around a PVC pipe and went at it! I have made a wheel thrown mug and I am just waiting to attach the handle. I have a good idea on how I'm going to glaze it. I can't wait!

This is my coil pot. Awesome, eh? I think so. It took forever and was sort of hard to glaze, but it was worth it! Now I just have to think of what to use it for...

I have a question to ask. I can't eat cereal unless it's soggy, why do people think that' so gross? It tastes so good and it doesn't scratch the top of your mouth! Also, why is it that I always get sick at the most inconvenient times? I thought I was getting better, but then today I feel like I've been run over by a bus. BLAH....

Now excuse me while I go enjoy my orange scarf.

Yo.

I have a foreign exchange student named Yo. Her name is actually spelled Yok, but it's pronounced Yo. Cool, huh?

I would like to introduce you to some footwear. I forgot to add these to my Footwear. post. THESE are my point shoes. These are probably the most uncomfortable shoes on the planet. At least in my opinion they are. (Oh my goodness, I'm hungry.) Anyway, they make your feet hurt and they give you blisters. But, they make you look so light on your feet! They also make you taller. That's a big benefit. I just thought I'd introduce you to them.

I would also like to introduce my newest creation! A flower bowl. I really don't think it looks that great, but other people say it looks awesome! But I'm still not so sure about it. And no, it is not three bowls stuck together. I individually cut each of the petals and stuck them onto one bowl. It took FOREVER.

AUGH! I don't like the top. I like the inside, just not the top petals.

Here are some nature photos.

Mmmm.... I really like fall.

WHOA.

{11-2-10}

(This picture was taken by my dad. Beautiful!)

I just have to say, I very highly dislike being sick. I missed school today and spent the rest of the day watching The Princess and the Frog, Clash of the Titans, and Prince of Persia. Good movies, good movies. Although The Princess and the Frog is a bit dark... all that voodoo and whatnot. And while I was watching Clash of the Titans, I couldn't understand most of what they were saying... Prince of Persia on the other hand, is epic. I really like both of the main characters in that movie. I just like that movie as a whole.

*Sniff*

*Cough*

And again, I highly dislike being sick.

I am in a Lord of the Rings mood... maybe that's why I'm constantly listening to it's theme music.

Anyway, here are some more Megan and Veronica pictures.

?... Okay...

What this picture doesn't show is the pole that I'm balancing on.

It's harder than it looks like.

Then we tried a taller pole... it didn't really work out.

It was fun. Then when I got home I went and checked my email and found this video that Monica sent me of these amazing Asian ballet dancers! Now that's taking balancing to a whole new level!

Meanwhile, I'm still working on the Nutcracker. I think my favorite dance is still Arabian, even though every time after I dance it I have to practically run to the drinking fountain.

Yeah... I think we've simplified it a bit.

I am so glad that we aren't dancing it en pointe.

I signed up for Driver's ED today. Early morning classes here I come! Oh yeah, and driving.

My new vessel.

This bowl (or vessel), is my latest creation in ceramics. I don't know if I like it or not.... I'm still debating on the like-age factor.

I dipped it in Sunflower Yellow glaze and then splashed white glaze over it. I am quite proud of it and intend to make another one, but with different glaze.

I am glad that I haven't completely lost the joy of roses in my back yard. The roses from our old house stick out over the brick wall into our yard of our new house. So I still get to enjoy them :)

Our morning glories are slowly starting to diminish. Which makes me sort of sad, I think they are very pretty.

As I was walking back inside from taking pictures of my vessel, I saw my cat and knelt down to take a picture. LITTLE DID I KNOW that I had knelt down right into some dog excrement. I have no idea who's dog it is who keeps on pooping in our yard, but it annoys me. (I know it's not my cat. I am very familiar with what her... stuff looks like. But that is due to cleaning out her litter box. And I'm sure you wanted to know that.)

Anyway.... Veronica, Natasha, and I took some pictures while it was all overcast. When it's overcast, that always makes for good lighting, which is always good.

Our first batch of pictures was of us jumping off the brick wall. (You can see the roses sticking up).

Veronica and I were having a good time, although it took forever to get onto the brick wall.

I don't think Natasha was so keen on the idea of jumping off a brick wall...

Then Veronica and I took some cheesy best friend pictures.

I need a tan...

WHALAH.

Now that you know all about my boring life, I shall depart.

Megan, OUT.
